Moravian Women's Association

This organisation aims to unite women of all ages in the Province in closer fellowship with one another and in the wider service of God.

The membership, which currently numbers approximately 500, meets on a monthly basis in local groups sharing a common devotionally themed paper and news from around the world. The membership aims to raise money for Moravian and non-Moravian projects and charities in an effort to look beyond the confines of our own communities to the wider needs of the world.

The whole membership has the opportunity to meet twice a year at a Spring Rally following the administration meetings and at an Autumn ‘Away Day’, a day of devotional fellowship and shared workshops. These events are hosted by the membership in their congregations or ‘Circles’.



The organisation celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2000 and to mark the event the Circles prepared a quilt tracing the traditions of the Moravian Church and the life of Christ, principles upon which the organisation is founded.
