Leominster, Herefordshire - Oct 2026

On 4th July, the Leominster Moravian Church invited the Kindle Singers, and director Jon Watson, to perform Songs from Stage and Screen in aid of the completion of the organ renovation. Sr Dilys Howard’s sister, Gwyneth Lloyd was visiting from South Africa, so they began with duets by Purcell. Gwyneth also sang the solo Vilia by Lehar, and the choir showed off their extensive repertoire from shows and films. Dilys ended the concert with The Sound of Music, followed by the choir’s Edelweiss and Climb Every Mountain.

A big thank you to the choir for their wonderful singing, along with Sr Dilys and her sister Gwyneth Lloyd singing duets. It was a lovely hour of music.
