Worship We held our usual district gathering at Fairfield on 28th June. Br Woolford led the worship, which included a feat of escapology to illustrate the theme of ‘With God, everything is possible’. The service was a lovely time of fellowship with our sisters and brothers from the Lancashire District,
Following their hugely successful performances in London and Leicester, ‘Moravian Brass’ were our special guests at ‘Summer on the Settlement’ on 8th August, and what a marvellous time we had!
Over the past year we have enjoyed our usual services and activities. We hosted a Christian Aid Lunch, which was a great success raising £300, a far more enjoyable way of supporting that charity than collecting envelopes. We hosted the Dance Class Presentation Service and welcomed a full Church for the occasion,
On 4th July, the Leominster Moravian Church invited the Kindle Singers, and director Jon Watson, to perform Songs from Stage and Screen in aid of the completion of the organ renovation.
During the summer months we have had two of our annual social events which are always very popular and enjoyed by all ages. The first of these is our Summer Fete which was held at the end of June in the nursery garden next to the church.
