The Youth and Children’s Committee consists of four members of the Moravian Church in the British Province, the Youth and Children’s Officer; a member of the Unity Youth Committee; at least one bishop, agreed by the bishops; and members of the Provincial Board deputed by that Board. District Youth Co-Ordinators are invited to at least one meeting per year.
 
The Committee’s function is to promote youth and children’s work in the Moravian Church by encouraging fellowship and co-operation, suggesting and assisting methods of organisation, and supporting the training of leaders for their work by arranging provincial activities; to support the youth and children’s activities of the Moravian Church and to foster spiritual growth and the ideals of Christian service; to advise on youth and children’s work and available resources; to encourage ecumenical links with youth and children’s work of other denominations at all levels from congregation to provincial; to foster safe working practices within the Moravian Church; to support the Youth and Children’s Officer and to provide an annual report to District Conferences.
